SYCAA operates under a clear governance framework designed to ensure accountability, transparency, and responsible use of resources.
As a Company Limited by Guarantee (CLG) on the pathway towards Charity and IPC status, governance is not a formality. It is the foundation of how decisions are made, funds are managed, and public trust is maintained.

BOARD OF DIRECTOR
The Board of Directors provides overall governance, strategic direction, and accountability.
The Board does not manage daily operations. Its role is to guide, oversee, and ensure that all activities align with SYCAA’s mission, regulatory requirements, and public trust expectations.

INDEPENDENT DIRECTORS
To strengthen governance and support IPC alignment, SYCAA includes independent oversight roles.

Advisory & Programme Liaison Committee (APLC)
The APLC supports programme development and delivery under the oversight of the Board.
It plays an advisory and coordination role, without governance authority.
